At Metamorph Health, I integrate physiotherapy, Myofascial Release (MFR), and self-MFR techniques to provide personalised, holistic treatments. My mission is to help you rediscover your sense of self, develop resilience, and embrace your own transformation.
The name ‘Metamorph Health’ embodies the essence of change, inspired by my deep connection to transformation – both in nature and in life. From raising caterpillars with my late father and watching them become butterflies to guiding clients through their own healing journeys, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of growth and evolution.
Myofascial Release (MFR) plays a key role in my approach, working with the body’s fascia – a tissue that, like us, adapts and reshapes in response to life’s demands. In 2024, I expanded my expertise with a qualification in self-MFR, empowering clients to take charge of their own healing.

About Heather
I consider myself a Soft Tissue and Structural Therapist as I have a diverse background: I’m a HCPC registered physiotherapist and advanced Myofascial Therapist with various soft tissue therapy skills.
My journey began in 1991 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. Initially working rotations in a large Manchester Hospital gave me a holistic view of the body. I had a clinical interest in Orthopaedics and rehabilitation, a passion which grew while working in the Orthopaedic units, consultant clinics and a GP practice. I obtained my Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine in 1999.
An opportunity was presented to me to create a Physiotherapy service for a local rugby club. We were fortunate to experience the success of winning the 1999 NPI cup at Twickenham, a highlight of my career. In 2004 I moved to Sheffield working in Rehab units and the community supporting people discharged from hospital and preventing admissions.
My career evolved when I left the NHS and discovered Myofascial Release (MFR) and other various soft tissue therapies. I was fortunate to train under renowned international instructors Art Riggs and Ruth Duncan, amongst others. This amplified my skills and knowledge, and I went on to obtain my Advanced MFR certification in 2011. In 2024, I obtained my Self MFR certification which enables me to teach my clients self-MFR to consolidate their recovery, and maintain their sense of self and independence.
As a mother and a therapist, I’ve learned the importance of adaptability, compassion, and resilience. I find balance and rejuvenation in nature, whether through open water swimming or country walks.
Through Metamorph Health, I aim to empower individuals to discover their inner strength and well-being.
The TV character Morph… what’s the relevance?
Just like Morph, our fascia is constantly adapting and reshaping in response to life’s demands. That’s the essence of Metamorph Health – helping you navigate change, restore balance, and move with greater freedom.
